CEREMONY ONLY ATTENDANCE
The commissioning ceremony is an official U. S. Navy event for which there is no admission fee. Admission is, however, by invitation only for security reasons and due to limited seating. Invitation lists will be submitted by crew members, U. S. Navy organizations involved in the ship’s construction and the Coronado Council of the Navy League. Requests for tickets should be received at least 60 days prior to the ceremony.
If you have donated to the commissioning or are a guest of a crewmember on USS Michael Monsoor, DO NOT request tickets thru this website. Donors are automatically added to the list to receive tickets and crewmember guests should contact your crewmember for tickets. This is to ensure you are seated in the appropriate seating section.
How tickets to the ceremony are handled by the U.S. Navy:
- Request Tickets using form below
- U.S. Navy will mail an RSVP package to you approximately 60 days before the ceremony date via U.S. Mail.
- RETURN THE RSVP (or RSVP to the email address on the RSVP card). On the RSVP you will indicate how many tickets you need -- the number in the ticket signup form below is only used for an initial estimate of attendees.
- U.S. Navy will ONLY mail tickets after they receive the RSVP. Tickets can be expected to arrive in your mail box approximately 7-30 days before the ceremony.
